Finnegan's Wins McLernons Independent Community Pharmacy of the Year 2026
It's official — Finnegan's Pharmacy, Sallynoggin has been named McLernons Independent Community Pharmacy of the Year at the Irish Pharmacy Awards 2026. It was a huge night for the team, and one we're still smiling about.
The award recognises independent pharmacies that go above and beyond on patient care, and this year's field was a tough one — six pharmacies made the shortlist from entries right across the country. Making that shortlist, let alone winning, is something we're genuinely proud of.
What the judges were looking for
The award looks at more than just day-to-day service. Judges wanted to see a genuine, sustained commitment to patient care — not just doing things well occasionally, but building that standard into how a pharmacy runs every single day. That's something we've always tried to live by here: we call it our “1% better every day” approach. Small, steady improvements, applied consistently, add up to something patients can actually feel and rely on.
A night to remember
